Pop Up travel Cot For Children

A travel cot that pops up is a very popular item for parents.  They offer safety, security, versatility and can be used in many different locations.  They can be taken on an overnight trip and the child can sleep and play in it when staying away from home and still be in a safe and secure environment.  The pop up can be handy to take outdoors as well to keep a child protected from the elements.  Some parents even use the cot as a bed during the first few months of a child’s life. It is very handy to be able to  have a place for play and sleep that is able to be moved from place to place.  Parents find that their level of comfort with the product enables them to enjoy traveling with a small child.  Safety concerns can interfere with a parent’s enjoyment of a trip when they have to be concerned about where the child will be during the day and especially at night for sleeping.

Option one is the biggest and is both a cot for use when a child is older and a cradle for use when an infant is involved. It is used in various rooms and packed up and moved to different locations as well.  This unit is especially useful because it adapts to the child. As the baby grows the cradle can come out of the unit and the mattress drops down to the lower portion where it becomes a cot.  Typically a child can use this unit until around the age of two making it a good investment for the parents.

Accessory items are also available on the pop up cots such as lights, musical mobiles, and a vibrator to calm a baby.  There is also an option of having a changing table as a part of the unit which is extremely handy to carry around for portable spots to change a child.  This enables parents to always have a sanitary spot for changing at their disposal.  Finding a spot for changing can be a challenge for parents of small children.  The bags weight around 22 pounds so while they are portable they still have some weight to deal with.  Many parents find that car travel with the unit is much easier than plane or train because of the weight.

Another option is the smaller pop up cot but it is limited for infant use and becomes too small after about 3 months.  For that reason many people stick to the larger version to get more time for the investment.
